The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the validity of FCRA registration certificates.
• The validity of FCRA registration certificates, which were extended till 30th September 2024 as per the previous notice dated 29.06.2024, has now been further extended till 31st December 2024 or until the renewal applications are disposed of, whichever is earlier.
• Entities whose 5-year FCRA registration validity expires between 1st October 2024 to 31st December 2024, and who have applied or will apply for renewal before the expiry, will also have their validity extended till 31st December 2024 or until their renewal application is processed, whichever is earlier.
• In case of renewal refusal, the validity of the FCRA certificate will expire on the date of refusal. The concerned organization will not be eligible to receive or utilize foreign contributions from that date onwards.
